World Series Predictions using XGBoost
Every season, 30 MLB teams compete to become World Series champions. The following Tableau Dashboard displays the predicted probability that each team would win the World Series for different seasons. Predictions were generated using an XGBoost model that I trained on historic MLB data, starting with the 1998 season (the Arizona Diamondbacks were not an MLB team until that year).
